Why designers and developers choose Illustricon

A growing, curated library of free design assets built for real products — not a dumping ground of clip art. Every file is optimized, consistently styled, and ready to drop straight into your workflow.

Truly free, forever

Every SVG icon, Lottie animation, and illustration is free to download and use in personal and commercial projects. No hidden paywalls, no attribution required — just high-quality assets you can ship with confidence.

Framework-ready exports

Copy production-ready React, Vue, and React Native components, or grab the raw SVG and JSON. Animations run through the lightweight Lottie player, so your bundles stay small and your pages load fast.

Consistent, curated styles

Browse by visual style — outline, filled, duotone, 3D, and more — so the icons in your interface match perfectly. Each set shares the same grid, stroke weight, and proportions for a polished, cohesive result.

Built for performance

Vector assets scale to any resolution without losing quality, and Lottie files are a fraction of the size of video. The result: crisp visuals on every screen and faster load times for your users.

Instant, flexible downloads

Download a single asset or grab a whole collection as a bundle. Recolor icons in the browser, preview animations, and export exactly the format your project needs — in seconds, not minutes.

Always growing

New icons, animations, and illustrations are added regularly, shaped by community requests. Can't find what you need? Request an icon and our team will design it for everyone to use.

How Illustricon works

From finding the perfect asset to shipping it in your product — three simple steps.

Browse & search

Explore thousands of assets by category, style, or keyword. Use the search bar to find an exact icon, or wander through curated collections to discover something that fits your project perfectly.

Customize in the browser

Preview how an icon or animation looks, recolor it to match your palette, and adjust stroke weight — all before you download. What you see is exactly what you get, with no design tools required.

Download & integrate

Export as clean SVG, a Lottie JSON file, or a ready-made framework component. Drop it into your codebase and you're done — free to use in any personal or commercial project, with no attribution needed.

Every format your project needs

Illustricon ships four kinds of assets, so you can pick the right tool for the job — whether you need a razor-sharp static icon or a buttery-smooth animation.

SVG Icons

Scalable vector icons that stay crisp at any size, from a 16px toolbar to a billboard. Edit colors with CSS, animate them, or inline them directly into your markup for the fastest possible render.

Lottie Animations

Lightweight, resolution-independent animations exported as JSON and played with the Lottie runtime. Far smaller than GIF or video, they render smoothly on the web, iOS, and Android from a single file.

Animated SVG Icons

Self-contained SVGs with built-in motion — perfect for micro-interactions like loading spinners, toggles, and success states. No JavaScript or runtime required; just drop them in and they animate.

Vector Illustrations

Full-scene illustrations for empty states, onboarding flows, and hero sections. Fully editable vectors you can recolor and recompose to match your brand, then export at any resolution.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about downloading and using free assets from Illustricon.

Are the icons and animations really free?
Yes. Every SVG icon, Lottie animation, animated SVG, and illustration on Illustricon is free to download and use in both personal and commercial projects. There are no hidden fees, credit packs, or subscription walls.
Do I need to credit Illustricon when I use an asset?
No attribution is required. You are welcome to use our assets in client work, products, and apps without linking back. A credit is always appreciated but never mandatory.
What is a Lottie animation and how do I use it?
Lottie is an open-source animation format that renders After Effects animations as lightweight JSON. You play it on the web with the free Lottie player, or with the official libraries on iOS and Android — one file works everywhere and stays far smaller than a video.
Can I use these assets in React, Vue, or other frameworks?
Absolutely. You can copy a ready-made component for popular frameworks, or export the raw SVG and JSON and wire it up yourself. Because the icons are standard vectors, they drop into any stack that renders markup.
Can I recolor or edit the icons?
Yes. Icons use flexible colors and clean geometry, so you can restyle them in the browser before downloading, or edit the exported SVG in any vector tool such as Figma, Illustrator, or Sketch.
What if I can't find the icon I'm looking for?
Send us an icon request and our designers will create it for the whole community to use. We regularly add new assets based on what people ask for, so the library keeps growing in the directions that matter most.
