Free for personal and commercial use. Here's exactly what that means.
You may
Unless an asset page states a different license, this always applies.
- Use assets in personal projects — portfolios, side projects, school work.
- Use assets in commercial projects — client sites, SaaS products, mobile apps, ads.
- Modify them — recolor, resize, combine, animate or convert formats.
- Use them in unlimited projects, without asking first and without paying.
You may not
- Resell or redistribute the raw files — don't sell the SVGs/JSONs themselves, bundle them into a competing icon library, or offer them as a standalone download.
- Claim them as your own work — don't present Illustricon assets as your original designs.
- Use them unlawfully — e.g. in trademark-infringing logos that imply endorsement, or in defamatory content.
- Scrape the library to build a mirror — bulk copying undermines the free service (see Terms of Service).
Per-asset licenses
A small number of assets may carry a different license (e.g. contributor-supplied work). When they do, the asset page states it next to the download buttons — and that per-asset license wins over this page.
