Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026. Short version: we collect as little as possible, and never sell your data.

1. What we collect

Account data: when you register we store your name, email address and password hash (or the basic profile your OAuth provider shares, e.g. Google).
Messages you send us: the name, email and contents of contact form submissions and icon requests.
Usage data: anonymised page views and download counts so we know which assets are popular.

2. How we use it

To run your account: sign-in, email verification, password resets.
To reply to support messages and icon requests.
To keep the library fast and safe: abuse prevention, rate limiting, debugging.

3. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies for sign-in sessions, theme preference and security. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the site (hosting, email delivery), and with authorities when the law requires it.

5. Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists. Support messages are kept as long as needed to handle them. You can ask for deletion at any time — see below.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA rights) you may request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict processing. Email contact@illustricon.com and we will respond.

7. Children

Illustricon is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new policy.
